The countrywide lighttrap network yielded many valuable data concerning the Lepidoptera attracted by light, whereas the informations are quite incomplete about the swarming (migration) of diurnal species and of nocturnal ones which are not, or only in small extent attracted by light. The author requests the amateur Lepidopterologists and professional entomologists to participate intensively in the observation of wandering Lepidoptera. The observation and survey programme is being coordinated by the Hungarian Research Institute for Plant Protection, Budapest. (A meghatározást Dr. ENDRŐDI SEBŐ végezte.) A fajt irodalmi adatok szerint Pécsett is gyűjtötték, de a Természettudományi Múzeum gyűjteményében csak Kászon, Rosenauer Gb., Tátra és Hungária lelőhely-cédulaju példányok vannak. A kaposvári példány valószinüsiti a pécsi adatot is. Venyige László
