In the lucerne several short flight bees, nesting in the lucerne field, are busy the distribution of which during our observations was somewhat more uniform, while that of the animals nesting elsewhere is somewhat less uniform. The latter animals are present in lesser quantity in the middle of the field than on the border of same. According to our observations the so called „ border-effect" refers to the outer, few meter wide stripe of the fields only.
