Prom the Table it may be seen that in county Szolnok less (3) in county Békés more (4) in county Hajdu and Pest still more (5) species make up the majority of the pollinating population. In our previous paper (BENEDEK, 1968) we have established that the predominant part of the pollinator wild bees is made up of a few most important species. This statement of ours is borne out by the data of Table No. 2.from which it may be seen that 62-85 of the pollinating population consists of the 8 dominant and subdominant species. Out of the areas examined the soils of county Szolnok are the heaviest, its weather conditions are the warmest and - eapecially in the summer period - the poorest in rainfall. In this county Melitta leporlna Is significantly larger in proportion than In other areas. In county Békés its proportion is smaller and in county Haj du it aharea its dominance with Halictus malachurus , whereas in the county Pest of least dry wheather conditions it is forced back among the aubdominant apecies. In county Hajdu - with the exception of Hortobágy were scarcely any lucerne ia being grown and, therefore, no aurveying waa made - as well as in county Peat wheather conditions are more to the moist side than in the counties Szolnok and Békés, wherefore, in theae regiona significant number of Bombus species have appeared. In county Pest the moisture-loving Rhophitoidea canua is the predominant species.
