of the area under investigations . In the vicinity of 93 localities (Fig.l) of four conties of the Hungarian Great Plain we have carried out 103 surveys in the course of which we have visited an area of 2455 ha lucerne fields, and have collected and noted respectively 5771 wild bees. The data in the third part of our present paper have been evaluated on the basis of principles published in one of cur previous paper (BENEDEK, 1969). The surveys have been grouped according tc definite view-point and the data of the individual groups averaged by arithmetical mean value. I. Dominance of the pollinating wild bees After having determined the material collected we were able tc establish the dominance conditions, the results having been suzmarized in Table No.I. In the course of our surveys in the Hungarian Great Plain we managed to collect 67 species in the lucerne fields. The number of species is the largest (48) in the Szolnokcounty ,followed by Hajdu- (38), Békés- (35) and Pest-county (15). In the course of earlier examinations (MÓCZÁR, 196la) 32 species were not captured in lucerne flowers wherefore same are new on the list of the lucerne pollinating wild bees: Prosopi3 bisinuata PÖRSTER, Prosopis communis NYLANDER, Andrena hypopyla SCHMIEIZKNECHT, Andrena argentata SMITH, Andrena pillichi ALPKEN, Nomada fucata PANZER, Nomada rhenana MORAWITZ, Nomada basalis HERRICHSCHAFFER, Nomada calimorpha SCHMIEDEKNECHT, Halictus patellatus MORAWITZ, Halictus tetrazonius KLUG, Halictus simplex BLÜTHGEN, Halictus veneticus BLÜTHGEN, Halictus morbillosus KRIECHBADMER , Halictus interruptus PANZER, Halictus mesoclerus PEREZ, Halictus pauxillus SCHENCK, Halictus pallens BRÏÏLLÉ, Halictus minutulus SCHENCK, Halictus trichopygus BLÜTHGEN, Halictus politU3 SCHENCK, Halictus smaragdulus VACH, Halictus tumulorum LINNAEUS, Halictus kessleri BRAMS , Halictus aeneldorsum BLÜTHGEN , Megachile apicalis SPINOLA, Megachile genaiis MORAWITZ, Tetralonia pollinosa LEPELETIER, Eucera curvitarsis MCCSÁRY, Anthophora retusa LINNAEUS, Xy- locopa vlolacea LINNAEUS, Bcmbus subterraneu3 LINNAEUS.
