Benedek Laboratory of Hungarian Plant Protecion Service, Budapest On the basis of the examination-results obtained by MÓCZÁR and BŐJTÖS (1957) furthermore by MÓCZÁR (1959, 1961a, 1961b, 1961c) the Hungarian Plant Protection Service 3et of in 1966 preliminary examinations concerning the lucerne pollinating wild bees. The examinations were continued and extended to cover the Hungarian Great Plain in 1967. Under the leadership of the author the participants of the team were J. K0M1ÓBI (Tarhos), L. BAKE (Mikepércs), P. ANDRÁSPALYY (Budapest), E. WILHELM (Győr) and Mrs. ?. BENEBEK, acknowledgement to whom for their indispensable assistance is being extended herewith as well. In our present paper we want to publish some results of our examinations on the Hungarian Great Plain. The method of our surveys, the influence cf the size of lucerne fields, and that of the state of blossoming on the pollinating population (BENEDEK, 1969), the flying types of wild bees and the plant protection lessons drawn from the examinations (BENEDEK, 1968) have been published in our previous papers . In our examinations we have set ourselves the task to obtain as many surveys as at all possible in the most uniform parcelling-out Scientific Publication, No.II. of the Pest Prognostic Centre in the Laboratory of the Hungarian Plant Protection Service.
