ROVARTANI KÖZLEMÉNYEK FOLIA ENTOMOLOGICA HUNGARICA (SERIES NOVAt 1959. TOM. Xil. Nr 33 Notes on a gynandromorph Diaprlld wasp from Hungary. (Hym. Proct. Diapr.) by ]. B. Szabó State Institute of Hygiene, Budapest. Working on the material of Dr_. _J i _Balogh taken during the investigation of the hungarian terricolous fauna by means of the Moczarsky & deasicating apparatus I found a single cross specimen,determined as Monelata cincta Haliday. This species was collected by Prof. Dr._J._Balogh, contempo­raneously with 83 specimens /40 o, 43 o/ of Monelata cincta Hal., at Pócsmegyer on 10 June. 1954, from mouldering chips of the stems of Helianthus annuus . Gynandromorphous hymenopterans are very rare. Prom the collection of the Hung. Nat. Hist. Museum Mocsáry_ /1844/ described a Brasilien and Dr i _L i _Móczér /1944/ two home spi­derkilling wasps, furthermore Mi_ëa25éï /1956/ a inquiline bee. The animal seems, at first glance, to be a male. Auten­nae /fig./ strongly irregular in form. Scape about as long as six following very hardly determined antennái joints to­gether, pedicel trapesoid.
