Marginal rein very hardly distinguishable from the suboostal one. Hind wing with a suboostal vein and with two bending hooks, with long, marginal oiliae. Abdomen a little longer than the head and thorax united. The first tergit at apex narrower than long, as broad apioally as long in the middle. Sternite and tergite 1 with regular striât ions second tergit as long as wide at the apex. Sternite and tergite 2 smooth and shining, exoept at the base where it bears well-defined, regular striations, these striât ions usually restricted to the medial portion of the tergite, but sometimes extending to the basal two-thirds; 3 rd tergite a little shorter, one and a half times as high as long, smooth and shining, apioally with very fine and dense microscopical punctures. The following 4 tergites together as long as the 3 tergite in the middle, and with very fine microscopical punctures. The apical spur of fore tibiae very distinctly visible, bending. The joint 1 of fore tarsi about as long as the 4 following joints united, a little curved, 2 - 4 of equal length, cylindrical, the 5 joint about twioe as long as the 4 one, gradually thickened to the tip, bearing 2 claws. The spur of the middle tibiae very indistinct, the first basal joint a little shorter than the two following ones /2 3 rd /» oylindrioal, equal in length, the 4 th joint a little shorter than 3 rd one, the fifth joint about twioe as long as Tri tri the 3 and 4 ones together. The first Joint of hind tarsi a little longer than the 3 following ones united, the latter oylindrioal, of equal length. The last joint a little longer than the 4 one. Female unknown. This genus is well characterised by the remarkable form of fore wings, by the body, and by the length of 2 nd tergite and it can be therefore well separated from other Scelionid genera, being nearest to Anteris Forst. 1856 and Dut a Nixon 1933.
