Its posterior half is black,the anterior half is composed of white hairs ,causing a semilunar undulated line with one great and two smaller rounded lobes /Pig. 4/.«* Key for the determination of the four species of the genus Dermestes Linné known up to now, from China. 1 Pronotum is wholly covered by a strong pubescence, remarkably lacking howewer several small spots. Elytrae haired in a different manner. Length: 7*5 - 10.5 mm. South Siberia, Mongolia and South China.
