Medium fine fabric with occasional small white and brown grits. Fracture 7.5YR 6/6 reddish yellow. Slipped on interior and exterior 10YR 7/4 - 7.5YR 6/4 very pale brown to light brown, and burnished to medium to high lustre; lustrous 2.5YR 5/4 reddish brown paint on interior and exterior. Decoration: on exterior FM 16 reed pattern, on interior part of two curving broad band, probably also from FM 16 reed motif. LH IIA. Cf. Phylakopi, RMDP Melos 41, Fig. 365 (similar reed motif on the interior). 28.(Fig. 9, right; Fig. 9c) Body fragment from a closed shape. From Mycenae, Schliemann' s Dump. [On the back: R. W. Hutchinson]. Pres. H. 2.9; pres. W. 6.2 cm. Fine fabric with occasional brown grits. Fracture 10YR 7/4 very pale brown; interior surface 7.5YR 7/4 pink with wheel marks; exterior slipped and burnished 2.5Y 7/4 pale yellow, lustrous 10YR 2/2 very dark brown paint. Decoration: on the right side diagonal, curving motif with drop-like projections probably to be identi­fied as part of a FM 11 papyrus, on the left similar broad curving band.
