A STAG FROM MYCENAF. 85 Fig. 6 Middle Helladic sherds - Matt-Painted ware. (1:3) tempered unburnished. Fracture, core 10YR 7/3 very pale brown, near surfaces 7.5YR 6/6 reddish brown; interior surface 5YR 6/4 light reddish brown, exterior slipped 10YR 7/3 very pale brown; matt 10YR 4/2 dark greyish brown paint. Decoration: three oblique lines run into a slightly diagonal broad band. MH II Late. 20. (Fig. 6c) Argive Light Ware body fragment with handle join from a kantharos [B3a?] (Di­etz's AA-4). From Corinthia. H. 2.9; W. 5.3 cm. Fine fabric, FT1: Fine Tempered burnished. Fracture, core 2.5 YR 7/4 light reddish brown, near surfaces 10YR 8/3 very pale brown; slipped exterior and inter­ior 10YR 8/3 very pale brown; matt 7.5 YR 2.5/2 very dark brown paint. Decoration: on the handle three horizontal strokes framed by vertical bands which continue on the body.
