Gábori has been dismissed. After the description they were 40-45 cm in length and 4-5 cm in width. The edges were highly convex, with broken or cut down distal part. Based on the published photograph I. Vörös identified the bones as femur diaphisis of mammoth.1 Concerning the excavations before the World War II A. Horváth mentioned some bone items, interpreted as tools. One of them, a 25-30 cm long piece with rounded edge, found in the concentration E seems to be similar to the pieces excavated bv M. Gábori. However, all of the suspected bone artefacts ever found on the site been mislaid. OTHERS A total number of 389 fossil mollusc remains can be found today in the collections. The detailed taxonomic identification is the work of Alfréd Dulai (see in Appendix ). Horváth mentioned from the lower layer red and blue painting grains, red painted Cerithium and bone fragments too. Finally, during the excavation of M. Gábori a flat quartzite pebble, oval in form, without traces of modification was found. -'I VÖRÖS 2000,
