Nagykürtő (or Sikló) — Large throat (or Shoot) A/4. Kupola-terem — Cupola Hall A/5. Denevér-terem (or Alvilág) — Bat Hall (or Nether world) In 1936 }. Jellinek collected bear and wolf bones 1 1. In 1939 L. Vértes collected cave bear fauna and charcoal from "yellowish brown" cave clay. In 1946 4th locality: 4th layer gray clay, 5th layer clay with "dark grey li­mestone debris". The largest quantity of animals remains was in the 4th and 5th layers. Also the Hyaena coprolit and a bone fragment nibbled by a Hystrix were found here. The lowermost 6th "dark red brown", "praeg­lacial" clay contained only bat remains 1 2. A/6. Sátorok — (appr. Mud mouth) It is the most humid part of the cave. In 1936 J. Jellinek found a Rhinoceros femur in the "yellow" clay 1 3. In 1943 L. Vértes exploited the whole cave infilling. A/7. Kiskörút — Small Avenue At the end of the narrow gallery starting from the Cupola Hall to the right, two different sediments were observed: A/7a: dark red clay layer At present it can be found only in the filled up flue opening upwards. In 1942 L. Vértes collected an Alces skeleton and other small and large mam­mal remains and molluscs. In 1943 L. Vértes collected small and large mammal remains, among them bison remains. In 1946 2nd locality: small mammal remains and Alces os ph.III. in a "Ro­dents" layer 1 4. In 1951 D. Jánossy collected Canis lupus and small mammal remains 1 5. In 1963 Gy. Topái found Bison os ph.I. \ЦЪ\ yellowish — gray]light brown clay layer In 1946 L. Vértes carried out ca 50 kgs clay from this place for washing. The 1946 and 1949/28 charcoal samples given for investigations originate also from here. The arboreal remains indicate a cool climate, like the mollusc fauna collected from here 1 6. A/8. Cirkus^ pihenő (or Circus letörés) — Circus Landing (or Circus Breaking) In 1924 J. Bekey found Bison tibia in red clay 1 7. In 1943 L.
