II. frags 153 151 long bone fragments 304 The teeth of the E. germanicus are mesodontic, with a high crown and a long protocone. The measurements of the isolated teeth are shown in table 2, the range of the tooth measurements in table 3. The alveolar length of a left M 1" 3 is 76 mm. The number of measurable postcranial bone remains is very low; a sin. mc dist. fragment is small and slender. A left astragalus is 63 mm wide, 61 mm high, the widht of the cochlea is 53 mm, while the width of the distal articular surface is 55 mm. It is 39 mm thick. The relevant sin. calcaneus width is 55 mm, with a thickness of 56 mm.
