HUNTED MAMMALS IN THE ISTÁLLÓSKC5 CAVE 21 Layer V 1 : dry-cold climate, but without the characteristic arctic-alpine species of the Würm III cold maximum. Cave bear is already missing. The occurrence of willow grouse (33,00 %) culminates in this layer while the ratio of black grouse (0,76 %) here is the lowermost. Steppe species are dominant among the micro- and meso-size animals.
