26 V. T. DOBOSI Detailing the typological groups of the chipped stone implements Л ) Unworked blades: 69 pes., 28,5% Made of different raw materials, their cross-section is trapezoid or triangle, a part of them fragmentary. B) Retouched blades: 36 pes., 14,9% (Figs. 6: 7, 9) Blades worked on one or on both sides, at the base, with a flange or pearl retouch. Among unworked and worked blades 97 specimens together were intact. Their average measures are as follows: Lenght groups pes difference difference X pc 10-20 cm 8 20 160 20-30 cm 29 10 290 30-40 cm 35 — — 40-50 cm 15 10 150 50-60 cm 4 20 80 60-70 cm 3 30 90 70-80 cm 2 40 80 80-90 cm 1 50 50 Sample mean of the length: 35 mm Variance (s 2) : 175,03 Length-width ratio of worked and unworked blades: Group I (1:1, resp. wider than 1:1 - 1:1,5) 49 pes Group II (1:1,5 - 1:2) 31 pes Group III (1:2 - 1:3) 15 pes Group IV (1:3-1:4) 1 pes Group V (1:4 -1:5) 1 pes C) Retouched flakes, 12 pes., 5% On flakes, generally bulbous ones, occasionally with pebble crust, various arts of working can be observed. Chippings seemingly executed by burins are relatively often. The lengths vary between 15 and 47, the widths between 10 and 39 mm. D ) End-scrapers, 19 pes, 8%. Among the end-scrapers we find both types occurring in the Palaeolithic and such ones characteristical generally for the Neolithic. The intensity of the working varies, in some cases the working edge is but indicated, roughand-ready, in others they are carefully finished. I. End-scrapers on blade 5 pes.; among them four fine types: 34x20 mm (Fig. 7:6); 39x22 mm (Fig. 7:4); 80x32 mm (Fig. 7: 1); 36x28 mm (Fig. 7:2); further a short, poorly worked end-scraper, 38x23 mm. II. Short end scraper (Thumb-nail scraper) 2 pes. 37x36 mm (Fig. 7: 3) and 28x22 mm (Fig. 7: 5) III. End-scraper on fragment of the core, 44x39 mm (Fig. 10: 4) ; IV. End-scraper-burin, 52x27 mm (Fig. 10: 6); V. Atypical end-scrapers, 10 pes. their length varies between 20 and 44, their width between 11 and 30 mm.
