Kovács Tibor: A halomsíros kultúra leletei Bagón
86 т. KOVÁCS both of them. (Up to now we do not know settlements of tell-character of the Late Bronze Age in the Carpathian Basin which my be characterized by houses with mud-plastered walls built above the ground ; this fact cannot be attributed to the inadequacy of research. This shows that the social basis of the Late Bronze Age was not agriculture but chiefly animal breeding.) It is important to empasize the dialectical unity of categories which consequently seem to be rigid as the continuity of historical development is supported by the population whose social structure froms a dividing line between the developmental stage of society of the Middle Bronze Age and the Early Iron Age representing as a whole a qualitatively higher stage. This duality emphasizes mostly the importance of the history of the Late Bronze Age in the Carpathian Basin.
