Megbeszélés A pleiomorph adenomák a nyálmirigyek daganatos betegségei között igen nagy százalékban fordulnak elő. A kis nyálmirigyek területén azonban ez az elváltozás nem mindennapos, a feldolgozott irodalom is csak érintőlegesen említi a kis nyálmirigyekből kiinduló kórképet. A gyakorló szájsebészek és fogorvosok figyelmét arra szeretnénk felhívni, hogy a mindennapos betegvizsgálat során ne csak a „megszokás” vezérelje gondolatainkat, mert előfordulhat, hogy egy-egy kórkép nem a típusos lokalizációban jelentkezik, de a pontos diagnózis felállítása elengedhetetlenül szükséges a terápiás lehetőségek helyes kiválasztásához. The location of the pleimorph adenoma is rare as mentioned in the bibliography, however, not demonstrated with many actual cases. 22
