tokkal látjuk el, pár napos ágynyugalmat javaslunk. Profilaktikusan széles spektrumú antibiotikum adására az ascendáló bakteriális fertőzés megelőzésére minden esetben szükség van. Cervicalis mediastinotomiára vagy praetrachealis fascia bemetszésére a keringési, ill. légzési zavart okozó nagyfokú mediastinalis emphysemával járó esetekben lehet szükség. A fenti konzervatív kezelés a beteg gondos radiológiai és klinikai követése mellett rendszerint elégségesnek bizonyul. Az előzőkben javasolt prevenciós szempontok betartásával az egyébként ritka szövődmény előfordulása tovább csökkenthető.
