Recently, we have observed two cases of contact allergic reaction after using Silodent (Ferrokémia) impression material. Epicutaneous test has shown that the allergic reaction is provoked by the catalisator. This hypersensitivity reaction is due to a previous sensibilization (e.g. previous impression taking or environmental hazards).
