helyretétel. A visszaültetett szemfog gyökértömése gyökérresorpcióra hajlamosít, melyet saját eredményeink és az irodalmi adatok is alátámasztanak [4, 17]. Véleményünk szerint a fog megmaradásának feltétele a retencióban lévő fog kíméletes feltárása, a beavatkozás lehető legrövidebb időtartamon belüli elvégzése, hogy az eltávolított fog gyökere minél rövidebb ideig érintkezzen a levegővel. A művi alveolus elkészítésének idejére mi az eltávolított fogat fiziológiás sóoldatba helyezzük. Az ortodonciai módszerek közül a rögzített készülékes kezelés a legrövidebb kezelési időtartam miatt célszerűbbnek mondható, mint a kivehető készülékes módszer, mert a beteg a készüléket állandóan viseli, így az eredmény is gyorsabb.
