The undissolved grains of the „Homodent—1” alloy are more loosely embedded into and are more loosely connected to the matrix than the „Goodfill” grains. Air bubbles of the „Homodent—1” fillings have bigger pores than those of the „Goodfill”. The microstructure of the „Goodfill” amalgam is more advantageous than that of the „Homodent—1”.
