mindenben megfelelne a vele szemben támasztott követelményeknek. Emiatt az egyes esetekben használt alábélelő anyagok kiválasztását gondos mérlegelésnek kell megelőznie. Figyelembe kell venni a kavitás mélységét, osztályszerinti hovatartozását, valamint a defektus kitöltésére választott tömőanyag természetét [24, 29].

Mivel ideális tömőanyaggal nem rendelkezünk, kompromisszumot kötve olyan anyagot válasszunk a rendelkezésünkre állók közül, mely adott esetben az ideálist legjobban megközelíti.
