После 6-недельного применения 42 лицами (21 тест и 21 контроль) зубной пасты, содержащей аминфлюорид, значения SBI, выражающие степень воспаления десен, в небольшой степени, а значения PI в значительной степени улучшились, гигиена полости рта улучшилась в обеих группах. Согласно результатам цитологических анализов, содержащая аминфлюорид зубная паста безвредна для десен, повышает защитную способность эпителия. Число Strep, mutans в слюне зубная паста Элмекс не изменяла.

After the use of the tooth paste containing animo-fluoride during six we eks in case of 42 individuals (21 tests and 21 controls) the SBI values expressive of gingivitis and the PI values showed little and significant improvement, respectively, while the mouth hygiene improved in both groups. According to the results of cytological i nvestigations the animo-fluoride containing tooth paste is harmless for the gums and increases the prophylactic capacity of the epithelium. The Strep, mutans number of th e saliva was not influenced by the Elmex tooth paste.

Bei 42 Personen (21 Probanden und 21 Kontrollpersonen) haben sich nach 6wöchigem Gebrauch der aminfluoridhaltigen Zahnpasta die die Gingivitis anzeigenden SBIWerte mäßig, die PI-Werte in bedeutendem Maße gebessert und auch die Mundhygiene zeigte in beiden Gruppen eine Besserung. Laut der zytologischen Untersuchungen wird durch die aminfluoridhaltige Zahnpasta das Zahnfleich nicht geschädigt und die Abwehrfähigkeit des Epithels gesteigert. Durch die Zahnpasta Elmex wurde die Streptococcus mutans-Zahl des Speichels nicht beeinflußt.
