Blood flow through the submandibular gland was studied in rabbits by the H„ gas clearance technique. By lowering the arterial pressure in the regional vessels supplying the gland a corresponding decrease of the glandular perfusion rate was observed. During the pressor response elicited by the unilateral occlusion of the common carotid artery a vasoconstriction developed in the vascular bed of the contralateral submandibular gland.

Dr. Fazekas, A., Dr. P ó s c h, E. und Dr. Z e 11 e s, T.: Die Wirkung der lokalen Blutdruckänderung auf die Blutzirkulation der submandibulären Speicheldrüse Es wurde die Durchblutung der submandibulären Drüse mit H2 Gas-Auswaschmethode, an Hasen untersucht. Mit der Herabsetzung des lokalen arteriösen Druckes der Drüsen, verminderte sich die Durchblutung der gleichseitigen submandibularen Speicheldrüse proportionell. Laut der, durch die Niederpressung der gegenseitigen Arterie carotis communis hervorgerufenen Pressor-reaktion, konnte man an der submandibularen Drüse eine Vasokonstruktion beobachten.
