Magyar szociológiatörténeti füzetek, 2. (Budapest, 1986)

Summary

changing place of the economy in various social contexts, of the different modes of connection between economic and social institutions of the forms that integrate economic process proved to be sound navigation markers, assisted in a better understanding of the social and economic conflicts of our age and challenged a justified criticism of his opponents (a negligence of the idea of evolution, a lack of philosophical coherence, a lack of elaboration of the dynamics of the integration-forms). x Karoly Polányi's full name appears in the bibliographical items only when it is either spelled differently (for example, Pólányi) or only initials signal the name (for example, P.K., p.i.). Thus, a dash (-) stands for Polanyi Károly in the case of Hungarian items, and for Karl Po- lanyi in the case of non-Hungarian items. There are some periodicals in which Polanyi regularly published, but not available (or only in some issues) in Hungary (Vorwärts, Die Neue Erde, Venkov, Globe and Mail, Technology Review, Menschheitskämpfer, News Sheet of the Christian Left, Europe Nouvelle etc.) even though we very well know that they contain Polanyi's writings; but we were unable to conduct research abroad. Numerous offprints and xerox copies can be found in the bequest located in the Archives of the National Széchényi Library, Budapest; since their bibliographical description is incomplete, we marked them with a zero index (o). Data deriving from secondary sources are marked with an indexed cross (+). 182
