ABSTRACTS CHILDREN'S FATE IN 1996 The Metropolitan Szabó Ervin Library organized on October 16, 1996 a scientific session under the above title. The papers read at the session had been written by specialists working in research, higher education, state administration and in the protection of children. Based on their research findings they provided an image of the social, educational, cultural and family environments determining the fate of children.
