side wall of the Town Hall. Gábor Baross was a student of the Benedictine Main Secondary School of Esztergom. The plate is of a 50x70 cm size. 96. On the wall of the Franciscans' church, there is a memorial plate in honour of the same church which has been existing since 1716. The plate was made of white marble, with a 40x50cm size. 97. On the 250th anniversary of the death of János Bottyán kurutz commander, a memorial plate was put up by Esztergom, the city where he was born. The plate was put up ont the wall of the Town Hall. It was made of re marble, and it has a size of 50x70 cm. 98. The Bálint Balassa Community dedicated a memorial plate to Ferenc Csepreghy. He was a dramatist, and he lived in 10 Deák Street, between 18601863. Hence the plate is on the wall of this house. The plate is of a 80 x 60 cm size. 99. The 60 x90 cm painted plate on the wall of the City Centre Parish Church gives some details about the church. 100. In No 2, Deák Street there is a metal plate informing us that here was the Scientific Secondary School (the later St. Imre Secondary School) between 1857-1949. The plate was put up by the alumni in 1992. It is of a 25x31cm size. 101. The citizens of Esztergom dedicated a memorial plate to the Jewish citizens carried off in 1944. The plate is on the wall of the House of Techniques, and was inaugurated on 12. May, 1995. It was made of white marble, and is 113x64 cm. 102. The other, 40x60cm plate (of white marble) on the wall of the House of Techniques tells of the short story of the building. 103. The house of István Katona (1732-1811), a famous historian is to be found in the street named after him. On the wall of the house a red marble plate of 80 x 89 cm, put up by The Society of Historians and Archeologists of Esztergom and Environs, in 1932. 104. The 120x90cm red marble plate reminds to the establishment of the Kis Duna (Smaller Danube) Avenue in 1914. 105. The 45x52cm black marble plate tells about the reconstruction of the János Bottány Bridge in 1964. The inscription says: The János Bottyán Bridge was reconstructed in 1964, at the place of rhe former bridge blown up by the German fascists on 26.12.1944. 106. The 25x60cm red marble plate celebrates the reconstruction of the Kindergarten in »Lieutenant-General János Kiss«- Street.
