the courtyard of the Town Hall. The statue is dedicated to the memory of friar Julianus, who departed from Esztergom in 1241 in order to find the twin nations of the Hungarian in the East. 49. The Statue of a Harph. This is a stone plastic, made by Papakristos Andreas (1937- ), and it was erected in 1937. at the entrance of the Elizabeth Park. A few years later it was taken to its present place, in the western part of Béke Square. It has a 1 m high fundament. 50. The Statue of Youth. The statue is the work of Tamás Vigh. the composition was erected in 1975, on a 280cm long and 150cm high postament, in the park in front of Körössy College. 51. Stone Plastic. This 2 m high composition made of stone is the work of Dezső Mászáros (1923- ). It was placed at the Kis-Duna-Bank side of the Square of the Arad Marthyrs, in 1977. 52. The Statue of Bottyán »The Blind«. This 215 cm high bronze statue represent the general on horseback. It was inaugurated in 1978, and was placed on a 150cm postament in the corner of the Town Hall. This is also a work of István Martsa (1912-1978). 53. Female Torso. This 70cm high stone statue of Béla Vörös (1899-1979) was put up in the garden of the nurse dormitory of the Kolos Vaszary Hospital, in 1978. 54. The Statue of a Dying Boy. This 60 cm high broinze statue from 1978 is at the same time the grave of its author, Béla Vörös (1899-1979). The author's ashes have been built in into the 120 cm high postament according to his will. The statue is on the corner of Irinyi street and Népkert street. 55. The Statue of St. Stephen, King of Hungary. The statue represents the king on horseback, and is 220cm high. It was made by Ferenc Medgyessy (1881-1958), and the sculptor's widow gifted it to Esztergom.Originally it was in Mindszenty Square, today it is to be seen on the Castle Mount, near the supposed place of birth of the first king of Hungary. The postament is 170cm high, and it carries an inscription, the first verse of the religious folk chant beginning With the words: Where art Thou, shining star of our narion... 56. The Statue of The Founder. The 6 m high composition of bronze and stone was dedicated to the memory of the foundation of Esztergom on occasion of the Milleneum. It is the work of Tamás Vigh (1926- ).
