е century, and makes mention of difficulties of computerizing the catalogue of them, referring to the limited economic conditions first of all Then it relates the main characteristics of this spedal collection: its provenance and its division according sdentific branches determined by serving the university teaching from the beginning. Then the article points out, that studying of individual copies (implying the examination of handwritten additions and that of adorned bindings as well) provides also a rich area not properly exploited till now for sdentific research. In the end it mentions the problems connected with conservation and restoration of 1(f century books, referring to them as apart of great value of our national wealth, worthy of monetary investing. 26
