- 63 RONCZ BÉLA EGER IDŐJÁRÁSA 1985-BEN Abstract: The author of this study has analysed the weather conditions of 1985 in the frames of town climate research made since 1983. He has pointed out that the weather of each year during the period of those three years had significant anomalies and deviated from the average throughout many years. The year of 1983 was exceedingly dry with a hot summer. The year of 1984 was changeable but cool 1985 produced the fifth lowest annual mean tempersture. The winter of that year was hard, extremely dry. Summer was cool. Sunshine did not reach the mean. The number of cloudy days was 25 % above the mean. The lack of precipitation was above the mean. We had seven dry months that year. We lacked 11 % of precipitation. The separately intensity and distribution of precipitation was formed unfavoroubly

. It had a bad influence upon agriculture. Grapes brought the lowest average yoeld in the latest period. This can be attributed to the hard winters and the cool beginning of summer at blooming. At the same time the great number of dunny autumn days affected its quality favourably. Eger az Alföld és az Északi-középhegység közötti átmeneti klímaterületen található. Maga a város egy 12 km hosszú — 30-50 méter szintkülönbségei — szűk völgyben helyezkedik el. Fekvése, valamint a Bükk közelsége következtében jellegzetes, a legközelebbi meteorológiai főállomások (Kékestető, Miskolc) körzetétől eltérő időjárás jellemzi. Az 1983. január 1-én Földrajzi Tanszékünk szervezésében beindított városklíma kutatások az előzőekben elmondott sajátos mikro-, illeltve mezoklimatikus viszonyokra igyekszenek fényt deríteni.
