Bryol. et Lichen. 40 (1974):27 we found this species to be identical with Rutenbergia usagarae Dixon, Kew Bull. 6—7 (1919) :267, compared with the type (К—BM). Therefore a new combination is proposed: Neorutenbergia usagarae (Dix.) Bizot. et Pócs. Our colleague, Dr. D . J . M a b b e r 1 e у , kindly called our attention to the fact, that a genus called Jonesia is already published among phanerogams. Therefore our generic name Jonesia Bizot et Pócs is illegitimately published, Rev. Bryol. et Lichén. 40 (1973) :25 and we propose a new name for the genus: Jonesiobryum Bizot et Pócs nom. nov.
