Summary ON ARCHIVE MATERIAL OF ZAVNOH AT THE CROATIAN ARCHIVES The greater part of materials concerning the Nations' Antifascistic Committee for National Freedom of Croatia (ZAVNOH 1943.—1945.) is kept at the Croatian Archives in Zagreb (about 20.000 documents). The author of this report speaks of these sources, shows us the history of the origin of the large archives as such concerning the most important political organs in new Croatia in World War II. An insight into its contextual phisionomy is given. These archivistic data contain original testimony on the activities of the new national authorities on the territory of Croatia, facts concerning and illustrating everyday life of the people in times of war devastation and misfortunes, but also the start of a new period. 93
