According to the author's interpretation šišić is one of the greatest Croatian and Yugoslav historiographers who has left an everlasing and outstanding impact on the development of historiography, šišić is stated as a great erudite and researcher. Pointed out are the groups of his really proad scientific in. terest. The author gives an insight into šišić's educational work and also into his political views.
