Stulli most often had to start from the very beginning where arcihve legislature is concerned, so it is no wonder that this field in Croatia is connected to B. Stulli very personally. Stulli's activities were centered toward solving such problems that deal with all common and fundamental principles that such a legislation must regulate, as well as the specific themes, and all usual details that arise in the procedure of carrying out the law and all other regulations connected to it. UDK 930 : 92 STULLI Šepić, Dragovan: ON THE WORK OF DR BERNARD STULLI Bernard Stulli has achived significant results in the studies and illumination of the less treated themes from the goverment, social and political history, especially those concerning the east adriatic coastal region. He noticed and pointed out the main problems of the historical development os Croatian regions. These themes he incorporated into wider historical frames by means of contemporary methodology and exsact analysis and he most skillfully reconstructed the totality of the process of the historical development of certain periods and problems of our history. Stulli dealt with the question of organisation of the archive service and its basic duties. This dates from 1956 when he was elected as first President of the Croatian Archive Council. With the archivistic work, dealing with the most important parts of archive theory and practice B. Stulli has given a significant contribution to our archivistic literature-even more- he has acaually put down the foundations of contemporary Croatian and Yugoslav archivistics.
