SUMMARY TATJANA MUŠNJAK: THE RESTORATION OF GLOBE The author reports on the restoration of a globe in the Laboratory for restoration and conservation of the Archives of Croatia. The restoration is very complex and many conservators specialists are involved in it because of the variety of materials used in making a globe (paper, virions pigments, printing inks, chalk, plaster, papiermâché, resins, jute, wood and metal), The author's description of the treatement of the globe is preceeded by general information on making a globe and its most common impairments. 183
