MANVILLE REFORMED CHURCH, Manville, NJ continues to raise funds for little Jake Whitenight, the son of church members, who requires several surgeries totaling approx. S200K so that he will be able to hear. Debbie Fedak, a church member, recently informed us that in November of 2009 Jake developed a bone infection in the ear area that put him in the hospital for emergency surgery. This surgery revealed that Jake actually has a natural ear-drum, which according to his Mom, Lynn, means that when Jake has his surgery in the future that will enable him to hear, Jake “...won’t need an artifical or constructed ear drum. He has his own. Less grafting means less possibility of rejection, means better result of a very successful canalplasty surgery.. .and ultimately, yes, better hearing ability.” Please continue to keep Jake in your prayers.
