Therefore our testimony is that of the Psalmist, “My lips shall utter praise, when thou hast taught me thy statutes. My tongue shall speak of thy word; for all thy commandments are righteousness” (Ps. 119:171-172). We are to be disciples of Christ and His word that we might disciples others. We are to communicate the grace and comfort of our Savior who has brought us out of darkness into Him marvelous light. We are to communicate to one another that which we have received from the Holy Spirit, that teaching of His Word. Our Savior, Christ Jesus, speaks to us, saying, “Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hid” (Matt. 5:14). Our tongues should not be ashamed to speak the Word of God. For all of His commandments are righteous. The Word of our Lord effectually saves souls, setting them apart as new-born children of the household of our Father in heaven; that we might not only grow in His grace, but that we may proclaim His glorious Gospel.
