Janet Vegh Hungarian Reformed Church Columbus, Ohio Hungarian Reformed Pastor Publishes a Book Reverend Alexander Jalso, part-time pastor of the First Hung’ arian Reformed Church of Homestead in Munhall, Pennsylvania, has just published a book entitled, “Two Envelopes. ” There are two sides to every story, and the book, “Two Envelopes,” intends to present the side rarely seen by the public. Every relationship is a two-way street: think of the doctors and their patients, lawyers and their clients, teachers and their students. But how much is known about the relationship between pastors and their church members? In this fiction you will follow a young pastor’s first ministry, his triumphs and disappointments his joys and sorrows, his dedication and frustration. The title comes from an old story; the young minister arrived at his new church and the old minister was gone. In the drawer of the desk in the church office, the young minister found two envelopes. On one was written: OPEN IT WHEN YOU HAVE SMALL PROBLEMS. On the other one: OPEN IT WHEN YOU HAVE BIG PROBLEMS. He opened them both. In the first envelope, the message read: BLAME ME FOR EVERYTHING. In the second, it simply said: PREPARE TWO ENVELOPES. Finally, one day, the young minister prepared the two envelopes as he left. This is his story. “Two Envelopes” was published by AuthorHouse in Bloomington, Indiana. It can be ordered directly from the publisher by calling 1-888-280-7715. The book’s ID # is AJ20360. It can also be ordered online at www.authorhouse.com or at www.amazon. com. Reverend Alexander Jalso has been in the ministry for over 45 years. He retired from full-time service in 1995, and is now a part-time pastor in Munhall, Pennsylvania, near Pittsburgh.
