One of the youngest is the John Calvin congregation in Perth Amboy, NJ, which observed its 70th Anniversary on November 21st, led by the Rt. Rev. Dr. Francis Vitéz, Bishop Emeritus. The church gave two sons to the ministry, the late Rev. Steve Madi and the Rev. Albert W Kovács. Bishop Louis Medgyesi visited the congregation at Bridgeport, CT, which celebrated its 95th Anniversary on November 7th. The Supply Pastor is the Rev. Betsy Reed. He also addressed the Beaver Falls, PA church at their 90th Anniversary service on October 31, and the Whiting, IN church as it observed its 80th year, the Rev. Koloman K. Ludwig, Pastor. Seeking to bolster the effort to establish a working Alliance with the HRCA churches, Hungarian Reformed congregations unaffiliated with Calvin Synod, Bishop Medgyesi delivered the 75th Anniversary sermon in Duquesne, PA on October 23rd, when they noted the occasion of their organization. The Hundredth Anniversary of the Calvin Synod Herald- Reformátusok Lapja will be observed at the Calvin Synod Annual Meeting, May 2000. 333 Az Amerikai Magyar Reformátusok Lapja - Calvin Synod Herald száz éves jubileumát a Kálvin Egyházkerület következő gyűlésén 2000 májusában ünnepli. 333 FRIEND!!!
