Holman Hunt's 19th century view of Bethlehem from the North shows the village dominated by the convents that flank the church of the Nativity which contains the traditional birthplace of Jesus. Today the fields in the foreground have been mostly built upon.

Bethlehem városának Hunt Holman általi képe a 19-ik században. A város képét uralja zárda körvanala a „Nativitás Templommal", amely Krisztus születésének tényleges helyén épült fel. Ma már még több új épület csoport sereglett a régebbi üres helyekre.
