CALVIN SYNOD HERALD — 4 — REFORMÁTUSOK LAPJA Installation in Cleveland The Rev. Stephen Szilagyi was installed as pastor of the First Hungarian Reformed Church of Cleveland, Ohio on September 20th. The Reverend T. Szilagyi was born on March 29, 1934 in Ungvar, Czechoslovakia of Hungarian parents, The late Rev. Dr. Tibor M. Szilagyi and Mrs. Elizabeth Szilagyi. After completing his undergraduate studies in Austria, he received the Bachelor of Divinity Degree from the Evangelical Congregational School of Theology of Myerstown, Pennsylvania. He was ordained on November 8, 1964 at Immanuel United Church of Christ in Bromley, Kentucky by the Southwest Ohio Association of the Ohio Conference of the United Church of Christ. His former pastorates include: Immanuel United Church of Christ, Bromley, Kentucky Philippus United Church of Christ, Cincinnati, Ohio First United Church of Christ, Greenville, Ohio First United Church of Christ (Millvale) Pittsburgh, Pa. Rev. Szilagyi and his wife, the former Jean MacKenzie of Princeton, New Jersey, are the parents of three children, George, a student at the University of Pécs, Hungary; Natalie (Sullivan), a student at the Georgetown University, and Michael, a student at Shaker Heights High School.
