Thus the new address of the Bishop’s Office is: 963 Laurel Avenue Bridgeport, Conn. 06604 Phone: (203) 368-3658 Dr. Butosi rendered his resignation to the consistory of the Norwalk church on July 6 and the pulpit is declared vacant as of Sept. 1, 1976. Interested persons are to call the Bishop’s Office. THE RT. REV. ARPAD GEORGE became the new president of the Hungarian Reformed Federation of America at the recent convention held in Ligonier, Pa. Other officers of the Federation include: L. Eszenyi executive vice-president, Bishop D. Abraham—L. Áros, B. Sziics vice-presidents, E. Vargo secretary, J. Molnár treasurer. We wish and pray that the new slate of officers may continue to work for the glory of God in the service of our Hungarian Reformed people! THE WIDOW OF DR. ALEXANDER FAZAKAS, noted dental surgeon in Buffalo, N.Y., donated $500 through our Synod to Sárospatak in the name of her husband and his classmate, Bishop Dr. László Ravasz for the maintenance and expansion of the “American Room” in the old college. VACATIONERS ABROAD: Revs. Alexander and Maria Babos will spend several months in several countries of Europe, Dr. and Mrs. L. Berzeviczy and Mrs. Emma Marsalko visit Hungary, Dr. Alexander Havadtoy and his family spend the month of August in Switzerland. IN KALAMAZOO, MICH, the Rev. Attila William Kish was elected pastor on June 13, 1976. Rt. Rev. A.L. Beretz being the administrator. Rev. Kish is already in Kalamazoo. IN DAYTON, OHIO the Bishop had a consultation with the consistory on June 8, 1976. As a result the pulpit was declared vacant as of June 30, 1976, and the consistory agreed to offer the following salary to the new pastor: $10,000 base salary, $1,560 pension fund, $500 car allowance, $750 social security payment, 650 hospitalization. (Plus: parsonage with utilities.) Dean S. Szabó of Cleveland is the administrator. Interested persons should call the Bishop or the administrator.
