Res.: 203-838-7378 Bus.: 203-866-7809 OFFICIAL CALL TO ANNUAL MEETING: The 1976 Annual Meeting of The Calvin Synod Conference of the United Church of Christ will be held on May 10-13 at Wesley Theological Seminary, 4400 Massachusetts Ave., N.W., Washington, D.C. Please elect your church delegates as soon as possible and report their names to the Bishop’s Office no later than April 15. Please send the Synod Treasurer, the Rev. Z. Király, $150 for the Travel Equalization Fund before May 1. Any overture to the Annual Meeting should be in the Bishop’s Office by May 1. Please mail the Reservation Forms directly to the Bishop’s Office to be received no later than April 15. The Seminary can accommodate a maximum of 120 persons ($12 per day per person for room and board!), but we must provide exact information. Meeting starts on May 10, 2 p.m. Agenda and further information will be mailed in April. THE SPECIAL COMMITTEE to study the full-time bishop proposal is herewith called to meet at Wesley Theological Seminary, Washington, D.C. on May 10 at 10 a.m. Members whose names are listed on page 66 of last year’s Minutes may have lodging in the Seminary on May 13 if so desired. (Congregations will soon receive a questionnaire in preparation of the subject.) APPLICATION for the now vacant supervisor position in the Home for the Aged at Ligonier, Pa. must be submitted to the Rt. Rev. Dr. Zoltán Beky, 3216 New Mexico Ave. N.W., Washington, D.C. 22016 before April 10, 1976. To be eligible for election, the applicant must be a Hungarian Reformed minister, a member of the Hungarian Reformed Federation of America, must speak and write both English and Hungarian, and must have the Certificate for administering a Nursing Home as required by the State of Pennsylvania. (If the applicant does not have the Certificate, it would require three years of Nursing Home practice and examinations to get it. During that period he would fulfill his duties as assistant administrator.) THE RESIGNATION of the Rev. Kalman Csia as Supervisor of the Home for the Aged became effective as of Feb. 1, 1976 after 15 years of faithful and devoted service.
