REFORMÁTUSOK LAPJA 7 He was a member of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, the Linguistic Society of America, the Association for Symbolic Logic and the Finnougric Society of Helsinki. Dr. Lotz was the author of articles and books on linguistics, metrics and the Hungarian language and literature. Among his works are A történelmi világkép, 1937; Das Ungarische Sprachsystem, 1939; “The Structure of Human Speech,” 1960; “The Structure of the Sonnet, ‘A Corona,’ of Attila József,” 1965. He is survived by his widow, the former Ann Margaret Norsworthy, and two sons, John Martin and Charles Peter Lotz, both at home. Dr. Lotz resided at 7407 Wyndale Road, Chevy Chase, Maryland. The full 11% recommended payments into the pension funds were being made with respect to 94% of the ministers reporting, compared with 93% in 1972. The state by state summary shows the average 1973 salary in each state compared with 1972 and 1971. Additional pages show the breakdown in salary groups of ministers serving churches and the percentage with respect to whom the full 11% dues are paid, both nationally and for your Conference.
