King and Queen of Hearts for 2000: Residents Helen Ambrose and Eugene Cairns. Resident Dolores Capp enjoys being escorted to the Snowflake Ball by Administrator Michael Walker. The crowning of the Snowflake Queen was then held. The winner was resident Betty Warner. Dietary provided a wonderful meal for our residents and guests. Even our Administrator Michael Walker and Executive Director Rev. Imre Bertalan acted as escorts that evening. A memorable evening was enjoyed by all. The ball has since then become a tradition here at the Home as well as with the St. Vincent College each year. Each year the residents grow more excited. Seeing their reactions and the looks on their faces says it all. Many "Thanks" to all the Volunteers, Staff, and Students who help to make this activity a memorable one for our residents. Sherry A.
