Kálvin Egyházkerület - Calvin Synod - Keleti Egyházmegye - Eastern Classis
During the 1956- Hungarian Revolt in Budapest, this congregation and its pastors performed unforgettable, heartwarming services. Untold hundreds of refugees were clothed, fed and housed through the efforts of our congregation. In 1967 the church burned down due to a boiler explosion. The same year a new church and rectory were purchased on 931-937 Broadway, in Fountain Hill. Since then this place became the center of all our church activities. By the fulfillment of the Lord’s Will, we have reached an unprecedented milestone. We take great pride in our Hungarian heritage and tradition. It is with great joy and thanksgiving to God that we celebrate our worship services on Sundays, both in English and in Hungarian. With His help we now look forward to the next one hundred years.
