GARY, INDIANA Grace Reformed Church Gary Indiana Chief Elder: Andrew Fekete The members of Grace Reformed Church have faithfully continued the work of our Lord even as times have rapidly changed the realities of life in our community. While all of our members have moved to the suburbs and far beyond, our weekly attendance at our times of worship have not decreased, and both the religious and social aspects of our congregation continue strong. We are faithfully served by a retired minister from our sister Dutch Reformed tradition, The Rev. Verberg, and he has been enthusiastic in his service to us. This past year we did lose several of our members and close friends, and were saddened by their departure, but we rejoice that they are now in the Lord’s presence. We continue to improve our house of worship, and to serve our members who are ill and in difficult financial situations. The ill in nursing homes are visited regularly by our own members, and receive holy Communion on a regular basis from Rev. Ludwig, who is the Administrator of our congregation, appointed by the Calvin Synod. We pray God’s continued blessings on our work and witness in this community.
