Bethlen Almanac 1998 (Ligonier)
The Bethlen Home
The care is excellent. The nurses and workers are exceptionally kind and attentive to the needs of the residents. The Christian spirit reflects on their behavior. As I understand, the churches are sending not only money, but often fruits, vegetables and meats from their harvests. I was greatly touched by the behavior of the residents. I did not hear any complaints. I was present in the dining room when lunches and dinners were served, and I never heard anybody ask the helpers for extra services. They were rather happy and thankful for whatever they received. I was amazed and thought, “what a blessed atmosphere!” It is always a pleasure for me to return there!
