The Hungarian Reformed Federation of America

The Hungarian Civic Association, which sponsors the festival, is a non­profit coalition of churches and organizations in the Hungarian commu­nity. It was organized in 1975 to become involved in the revitalization of New Brunswick on the neighborhood level. The HRFA has been a mem­ber of the HCA since its inception. The first festival was held in 1976 to celebrate the Bicentennial of our country. The churches and organizations in the HCA coalition that partici­pated in the festival this year were as follows: American Hungarian Foundation/Hungarian Heritage Center Ascension Evangelical Lutheran Church Bayard Street Presbyterian Church Hungarian Alumni Association Hungarian American Athletic Club Hungarian Reformed Federation of America Hungarian Scouts of New Brunswick Magyar Reformed Church Magyar Savings Bank St. Ladislaus Church William Penn Association Hungarian Scout Folk Dance Ensemble of New Brunswick. 1
