District Meetings In 1997 we held our Spring District meetings in Duquesne, Pennsylvania; New Brunswick, New Jersey; Akron, Ohio; South Bend, Indiana, and Toledo, Ohio. The meetings were conducted by the national officers and attended by local board members, branch managers, agents, finders, clergy and lay leaders. All meetings were opened with devotion. President George Dózsa extended greetings to the attending members and distinguished guests. He gave a brief summary of the promotional work, the new regulations in different states, and outlined the goals and projects of the Federation for the coming years. Secretary Endre Csornán presented reports from the claim and underwriting departments. We strengthened our field force with the following new members: Susan Szabó and Steve Vajda as area managers; Margaret A. Ayers branch manager in Canton, Ohio; Rev. Imre A. Bertalan agent in Toledo, Ohio; Betty Dolenc branch manager in Martins Ferry, Ohio, and Rev. Joseph Posta branch manager in Johnstown, Pennsylva24
